About Me

“Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.”

Nelson Mandela

This is me

Hello, and welcome. I’m Ana—someone who wears many hats in life: a mom, a partner, a professional, a traveler, a runner, and now, a writer learning to give body to my thoughts.

I believe life is a mix of discipline and wonder. In my professional world, I thrive on building teams, navigating complex projects, and finding clarity in the middle of change. At home, I’m deeply family-oriented—cheering at cross-country meets, supporting skating shows, or Speedskating races or planning adventures that bring us closer together.

In recent times, life has placed me on a new path: facing a breast cancer diagnosis. I’m still learning the language of it, the rhythm of it, and the courage it asks of me. Writing has become both a release and a way to connect—with myself, with others walking similar roads, and with those who simply want to understand a little more about resilience, uncertainty, and hope.

You won’t find polished perfection here. What you will find is honesty, curiosity, and reflections shaped by both my strengths and my vulnerabilities. My hope is that my words offer companionship—whether you are seeking information, comfort, or simply the reminder that none of us are ever truly alone.

This space is my way of weaving together the personal and the universal. It’s about journeys—through work, through family, through health, through the unexpected twists that remind us of our strength.

I’m glad you’re here.
